Dear insurers, bankers, investors,

On behalf of Organizing Committee I invite you to become an active participant of the II-nd International Investment Congress of Insurance Elite which will take place on June, 18-19th, 2008 in Kyiv. It’s organized by the specialized magazine "Strakhova Sprava” (Insurance Business) and supported by the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine.

Today, insurance and banking is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of economy of Ukraine due to growing volume of classical market possessing colossal investment potential.

Insurance market of Ukraine has become as attractive as it never was before; it is manifested in undisguised interest of foreign investors and considerable capital investment in domestic insurance industry.

At this time, in Ukraine there are more than 100 insurance companies operating with foreign investments, and the number thereof is increasing year by year. Among chief investors are: France, Poland, Russia, UK, Denmark, USA, Canada, Austria and Israel... This list is constantly extending.

Participation in the Congress will allow participants (insurance companies, banks and foreign investors, AMC, investment and consulting companies) to become owners of exclusive analytics on tendencies and forecasts of development of insurance and banking in Ukraine and in Europe.

The main sections of this year Congress is the sections, devoted to experience of portfolio investors’ attraction, M&A, reinsurance, EURO-2012, risk management, essets management and to an effective entry of the insurance companies and banks on IPO market.

In 2007 participants of the Second International Investment Congress of Insurance Elite became over 100 representatives of financial elite from 10 countries of the world.

Last year Congress considered the tendencies in macroeconomics of Ukraine, the analysis of the stock, bank and insurance markets, the comparative estimation of risks in Ukraine and the countries of the East Europe, as well as the analysis of investment appeal of national operators of the insurance industry and the research of consumer moods of Ukrainians.

The analysis of obstacles for foreign investments into Ukraine and of conditions for real investments into the Ukrainian insurance sector as well as forecasts for 2007-2008 were interesting topics for discussion. Also the participants have received invaluable international experience of investment activity from transnational insurance holdings and their strategic plans. They have familiarized with a procedure of estimation of capital adequacy for insurers and with alternative channels of portfolios formation

This year program will be richer and specialized.
